The Associated General Contractors of America's Environmental Network welcomes all AGC members (and chapter professionals) with an interest in the environmental issues affecting the construction industry. Through the Network, AGC members connect and interact with each other, receive special invitations to Network events, keep pace with the latest developments and participate in the association's policymaking on environmental matters.

Environmental Newsletter

Join the Network and start your subscription to AGC's Environmental Observer, an electronic newsletter that provides the most complete and up-to-date information on key regulations, legislation, court decisions and environmental trends that affect the construction industry.

The Observer now features a regular column written by Peter Truitt of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Through AGC's exclusive partnership with EPA, Mr. Truitt seeks to work with AGC and its members in a coordinated, cooperative and constructive way.

Environmental e-Forum

Ever wonder how other construction companies have dealt with the environmental challenges you're facing? Join the Network and participate in AGC's Environmental e-Forum, an e-mail discussion group dedicated to the exchange of environmental information as it pertains to the construction industry. Environmental Online Resources

AGC members enjoy "member only" access to the resources in the "Environment" section of AGC's Web site. This online resource offers loads of environmental information specifically for contractors. Among the many resources you'll find are compliance assistance tools on air, endangered species, water, waste, etc. Members can also find information on green construction, environmental management systems, construction and demolition debris recycling and more.
