Executive Management

Ownership Transfer & Management Succession Conference

AGC of America and FMI Corporation team up to provide this two-day program that navigates individuals and families through the ownership and management responsibility transition. Participants are given the tools to create a solid succession plan and ensure a successful future for their business and family.

Along with a detailed look at the logistics of this process, our highly experienced instructors also explore and guide participants through the emotional facets of the transition.

Participants will:

  • Identify the logistic considerations and recognize the emotions associated with the transition process
  • Explore a variety of management succession options and select the one that works best for you, your co-workers and your family
  • Discuss important tax issues that will affect your plan
  • Outline a real-world approach to the valuation of your company
  • Examine case studies of other contractors who have successfully transferred their companies
  • Map out the steps needed to implement your plan

Participant Profile

Attendance is open to construction company owners, chief executive officers, future owners/managers, spouses and other family members involved.
