AGC Safety Management Training Course – SMTC

The AGC Safety Management Training Course (SMTC) provides attendees three days of training on the basic skills needed to manage a safety management program for the construction industry. Participants will receive instruction and training that will allow them to return to their firms with readily applicable new skills. Ideal candidates have responsibilities that include safety from firms that recognize safety as a paramount function. Participants must attend all sessions and pass a written exam to receive a certificate from AGC of America indicating successful completion of the course.

AGC Advanced Safety Management Training Course – ASMTC

The AGC Advanced Safety Management Training Course (ASMTC) is a unique three day course, which will provide a high level training experience for safety professionals and company managers who have a solid background in construction safety and health. This course will enhance a participant's ability to manage all aspects of safety and health for their companies on field safety, insurance issues, and legal and liability issues.

Susan Harwood Grant – Focus Four Hazards in Construction Training Seminar

The Department of Labor (DOL), through the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), offers the Susan Harwood Grant every year to stakeholders. For the sixth year in a row, AGC of America is offering a Susan Harwood Grant training seminar, which is FREE for attendees. This year's grant training – the Focus Four Hazards in Construction, is being offered in 12 locations. The course covers falls, electrocutions, struck-by's, and caught-in's, which account for the greatest number of fatalities in the construction industry.
