State-by-State Listing of Continuing Education License RequirementsMore and more state licensing boards require that licensees complete a pre-specified number of continuing education hours per license period. The goal of such continuing education (also referred to as Mandatory Continuing Education or MCE) is to help professionals in our industry remain current on best practices, business methods, processes, and new regulatory requirements that allow them to create, maintain and improve upon our built environment. Qualifying AGC professional development and training programs offer continuing education hours that enable you to satisfactorily meet your state-mandated continuing education requirements. Be sure to check the specific program materials to see if you can earn IACET continuing education units (CEUs), AIA/CES learning units (LUs), American Institute of Constructors continuing professional development (CPD) units or other continuing education credits. Please be sure to confirm your individual continuing education requirements with your state licensing boards. If you find that our information needs correction or updating, please contact us at education@agc.org so we may look into it further and, as necessary, update our information. NOTE: State license renewal information is provided as a convenience only and is subject to change at any time. It is the ultimate responsibility of the individual to be sure that he or she is meeting continuing education requirements for each license and corresponding renewal period. |
